Recent Projects

Meadowood Firehall

Location: Qualicum Beach, BC
Size: 3,200 sq.ft.
Completion: 2009

This firehall was originally designed conventionally but due to budget limitations a pre-engineered alternate was considered and ultimately accepted. It is a good looking building with numerous architectural features including overhangs and multiple cladding profiles and colour.

Carmacks WTP

Location: Village of Carmacks, Yukon
Size: 3,000 sq.ft.
Completion: 2009

A waste water treatment plant featuring 5” (R36) insulated wall panels and 6” (R43) insulated standing seam roof panels. The building featured two different roof slopes (4:12 and 2.5:12) and a small overhang.

New Gold Inc. – New Afton Mine

Location: Kamloops, BC
Size: 55,000 sq.ft.
Completion: 2009

An impressive landmark structure standing over ninety-five feet high is home to the grinding, floatation, and concentration process equipment at New Gold』s New Afton Copper/Gold Mine. With 55,000 sq.ft. of roof area, 100,000 sq.ft of wall area and 1,200 tons of structural steel, the project required more than 100 flatbed trailer loads for material delivery alone. Our scope of work included the supply and installation of zinc prime coated structural steel, pipe racks, 2nd and 3rd floor mezzanines, bridge cranes (ranging up to 50 tons), polyurethane insulated roof and wall sandwich panels, louvres, windows, man doors, roll-up doors and canopies.
